How do I know if I needs therapy?
We live our daily lives under many pressures and stresses, which can come from work, intimate relationships, parent-child relationships, social groups, finances or past traumas. Often we overcome obstacles by seeking support from friends and family. We learn to survive and discover our identity as time past. Professional assistance might be warranted when a person has emotions which disrupt daily functioning, or behavior that interferes with your own expectation of life (e.g. failing at work, problems at sleeping or eating, issues of expressing the needs, or difficulty in relationships). You might not even able to name all the feelings of distressed or inconvenienced in your life, or meanwhile you have missed work, and feel frustrated and helpless in effectively dealing with the situation. These are some situations where outside help is instrumental in supporting.
